Homework Policies
~MY DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK~
My dog ate my homework.
That mischievous pup
got hold of my homework
and gobbled it up.
My dog ate my homework.
It's gonna be late.
I guess that the teacher
will just have to wait.
My dog ate my homework.
He swallowed it whole.
I shouldn't have mixed it
with food in his bowl.

Homework is written daily on the board. Students are expected to write their assignments in their agendas when they enter the classroom. Assignments, unless otherwise stated, are due the next day. Incomplete/missing homework does not just "go away". It must be completed and turned in during recess/study hall.
Please check the Agenda nightly and sign that you are aware of the homework assignments. I will contact you if homework completion becomes a problem.
I encourage parents to make homework a top priority. Please provide a set time and place, necessary supplies, and a quiet environment. Together we can develop those very important "time management skills" we all need to be successful!
I coordinate homework and tests so students are not overloaded. Students are expected to record test dates in their agendas.
